Hi all,

I only have around a years worth of fly fishng under my belt so I'm still definitely in the novice category! I spent last year fishing a few stretches of the River Don with some success (a fair few trout, couple of grayling / chub) but I'd like to stretch out a touch this next year to find some more local spots along Sheffield's rivers. Any suggestions on good locations? Any advice in terms of tactics / times to fish / flies etc would be very welcome as well.

Thanks in advance everyone

Ryan

These guys might be worth getting in with. They do a lot of work parties to clean the river, could be worth joining in and making some contacts;
