Portsmouth shore fishing this weekend

I am new to Portsmouth and fancy targeting something this weekend.

Can anyone suggest venues for this time of year and also what species to target?

Hi welcome to AN. Round at Langstone Harbour is a good place to start. There is a carpark just before the marina. Very strong current through there so not any good once the outgoing tide starts to run. They let the sewage out there and I used to fish off the comcrete causeways that the pipes run though. I guess there are still. there.
