Anti-social behavior can be an issue on some

fishing venues, especially where there is little bailiffing or control by a

local club and the water is close to a fairly urban environment. This was the

problem at Stillington Pond in North Yorkshire. Thankfully Stockton Borough

Council got in touch with Dave Munt who is the Chairman of Billingham Angling

Club and has also recently been appointed the Angling Trust Development Officer

for the North East and a plan and funding is now in place to transform the

venue into a picturesque and safe place to fish.
