Dreamt last night of Jumbo Wrasse.

Left earlier than ideal, as did not want to up on the wall in this afternoons heat.
So ended up starting an hour before high.

First drop, oh noooooooo, they are back :yucky:
Within 3 seconds of hitting bottom.

Second drop

DSCF1314_zps3a3e3f4e.jpg

Third drop and another double, one deep hooked so cut off and did not replace the hook.

This continued for a couple of hours. So took a break, had a cold Diet Coke, a smoke, tied some spare rigs
and introduced Mr. Penn to his new work place.

DSCF1311_zps3bea6e4f.jpg

Rigged up Mr. Penn to a plain lead, and dropped over the side to get some line off to ensure a
good line lay on the retrieve. The line fluffed up even just being dropped over the side
This aint going to be pretty, i thought, as i prepared for first cast.
Just a gentle lob and immediately the line fluffed up, i had to thumb it all the way.

Second lob and again fluffed up and nearly nested, but the lead managed to pull the fluff through.

I did think of giving a proper cast and get that nest picture, but i thought nah, that would be too contrived :icecream:
So Packed Mr. Penn away.

Now, back to the Wrasse fishing......

In the immortal works of Kylie ickle Kylie "I should be so lucky"

You can only take so many pictures of Pout you know.

Run out of bait in record time.

(Few weeks ago the spot was totaly Pout free, what happened there?)

To round it off, you know when you climb into a sweltering hot car and you stink of Pout ****e,
all you can do is take a great big sigh and hit the aircon max button, then FoxTrot-Oscar.

Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Don't think you'll get out tomorrow Barry.

Missed the Boat this morning, left 30 mins early and arrived 30 Mins late.

Boat had gone when i got there. (Bloomin M20, M26, M25, M23 Gerrrr)

Phoned the skipper, he was going through the lock. So about a mile up the road i found them still in the lock.

The nice Fat port controller let me hop over and get onboard.

Pout, Pollock, Horse Mackerel and jumbo Channel Tuna (massive one's caught on black lug on the bottom)

One Turbot onboard, but not to me.

Even worse drive home, gridlock from Top of M23 through to Ashford. In pouring brain.

Still, better than being at work.
