Hi guys, I bust my number4 section on my pole and the cost of a new one was a bit high but I found a company on line called carbon mods that have a pole repair kit a it was so easy I recommend this kit and the online video it was so easy !!!

Have broken a no 3 and a no 4 myself, both of which were fixed.

I used them for very light work with elastics up to a 5 until I sold the pole.

There is no way I would trust a fixed section not to break again if under alot of pressure when using a medium to heavy elastic but have no problem using them with light elastics where the rig will break before anything else.

Yeh I'd agree my confidence in this section will never be the same but as you say with lighter elastic it very good
