It got edited of course!

You must remember that I don't pick which pictures get used - and I certainly don't reverse the captions on some of them!!! What gets sent in then gets edited to fit the available space, so some wording gets edited. The better magazines actually READ what you've written. Others have subbies (sub editors) who just look for whole paagraphs they can cut out - and very often it is obvious! These have not been read and rewritten to shorten the piece but keep the context, they just hack it. Boat Fishing Monthly is one of the former, not one of the latter.

I shall try and get a plug for both in with the next one. It has been mentioned and will be again.

Boat Fishing Monthly is a great read though, well worth the pennies it costs.
