kayak trolley

just been to a car boot sale and bought a golf trolley for four pounds. It folds up nice and neat and fits under the back cargo straps. To attach it to the yak for use i have two straps that go around the yak and trolley and it works great. The wheels are solid and wide but very light. Will try and get some pics of it so you can see.Much cheaper than a shop bought (around fifty pounds down here.)All i had to do was saw the handle off leaving about six inches and saw the stand end off(two pieces of pipe to saw off and bobs your uncle. john

Nice one, there is something very satisfying about making your own trolley.

There certainly is. Took the yak out today just to try out the trolley.FANTASTIC.Just a two minute walk but its down a steep hill, on the sand no problems and coming back up the hill was like i was just walking up without anything.Just had to put a piece of camping sleep mat underneath trolley when folded up to stop any tapping on yak.

Mind you I don't put many pictures up so there might be a little bit more to it. Remember no spaces in the file name. :)
