Hungry, if you get down there early and you have beach casting equipment (or a carp rod) I suggest you fish Southbourne Beach whilst its dark. Cast about 40yards out with smallish hooks and ragworm.

Sole are often caught down there. Zzippy and I were down there last night - no sole but true to form Zzippy pulled out a smoothhound, bream and a small eyed ray. Suggest letting the ray and smoothhound go back but as for the sole..yummmm they are table species!

Southbourne Beach is about 4 miles east of Bournemouth.

Hi Starvin, thank you for the pat on the back for the bass.

My shirt is a special fishing shirt guaranteed to get results. You see,it is impregnated with female pheromones and that colour is a scientifically proven blend with a blue sky - from the fishes perspective that is! What you can't see are the fishnet stockings under my joggers and the special soap grabbing soles on my shoes :D

Typical Weimeraner. You are there for her pleasure. :)

With hindsight we thought we should rename ours "Duchess".

See yours pulls as well. :D:D
