Hi Snatcher,

As I've said before will be happy to let you have a paddle in my P13.Unless you're a beanpole or a man mountain should have a pfd to fit.

Are Tope there a serious proposition that time of year,if so this is getting even more exciting.

We've been practising at darts too!!

Jon.

Just got back from a week on the Mull. Pollack and mackerel a plenty :) No bass though :( Tope have been caught from the shore in the Terrally area so we should all have at least half a day at it.For you yak guys conger are on the cards as well.

Being a realist your main target fish should be pollack unless there are strong westerlies for the week.Thing is about the Mull no matter what the wind direction you can normally find a sheltered spot to fish.

You can reach virgin ground that us shore guys cannot reach. I would not be suprised if one of you gets a pollack on the 10lb mark :) Bring it on :) As far as the darts go I love the game but am an average player, only notched up 28 180's in about 40 year :(

Young Snatcher and Dale are a different story mind :headhurt: Kick yer ass, and Freddie the bass will kick everyones ass

So the plan is roughly -

Friday teatime Snatcher/Stan Massey/Norrie + boat arrive at the caravan site

Sat - The above 3 try for tope and shark in Luce Bay and the rest of my Geordie crew arrive

Sun - ????

Mon - Thurs much fishing and drinking :)

Fri - we are booked with Ian Burrett for tope fishing(try the onyermarks websitie if you fancy a bash,he has 3 boats but is normally well booked in advance)

Sat/Sun homeward bound

We will have a friendly wager lads, yakkers v shore lads, heaviest fish!!! Will practice catch and release so honesty will be the game. A round of drinks rests on it.

As you approach Drummore the first thing you see is the caravan park on the left, take the second left and park up and go to the bar to see Martin/Louise for your van keys,my van is no 14

Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Shad has been on his hols, think he is due back today or tomorrow. He mentioned he was coming over for a couple of days, I think I will be there for the Mon, Tues. At the moment I have no more confirmed bods but another 3 people have shown an interest , I think they will be going as well, they are not from the forum.

I am over there this weekend with the Yak, so I will keep you updated.

I am going over tomorrow afternoon for the weekend. If you are driving past Clashwhannon caravan park and a light blue rover 45 is parked outside no14 (visible from the entrance) feel free to call in for a cuppa/beer :)

See what I can do Snatcher, but I am on a hit and run, back to work early on Monday. We are coming over to have a go for a Tope on Sunday Morning and a Conger into darkness on Sat night. The beer might have to wait until next weekend.... :drunk:
