This Kayak cart will take some beating.

Terry,

Nope - I am not a salesman for it. But after trying several types of trolley, including the scupper hole type, and then a folding Eckla - which works fine, but is a little unstable on rough ground (because I got the small one instead of the big one.)

This trolley is an advance on those because the Eckla does sometimes fold up when you go to back up, for instance to take another bite at a corner or gap. That is not a major problem but annoying when it happens! This new trolley doesn't fold for and aft - it comes apart sideways, so doesn't fold up. The big pads spread the load over a much greater area of hull - good for a loaded kayak. Not much of a problem with an empty kayak, but the extra strain on a loaded kayak is worth taking notice of.

I notice you still haven't told me how to put pictures up!

Trying your instructions, Terry! Here goes - ready.......

Nope. It won't work. My pictures, even at 640 x 480 pixels are too big to load - it says so! Sorry folks still can't post pictures.

ELTON - WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT? A forward step backwards. I could at least put pictures on the last incarnation of AN. This one is just impossible.

ha ha

Touché!

i tried it on sunday - its possible but nearly killed me. i had to try it as, like i said, i like travelling light.

However since posting that first post and reading on this forum and others it seems i may not be able to go as light as i'd like if im to get the most out of it.

For example, i hadnt considered an anchor really - i didnt used to use one in my dinghy but obviously holding position in even the slightest of breezes was a joke.

everyday's a skool day ;)

do like the paddlecart - must admit.

Terry - photo software package.

Is that something that takes them out of focus a little bit then?

Did anyone buy this trolley? If so how did you get on with it?

After seeing Zzippys C-Tug trolley in action and using it on my Scupper Pro on sand I may go for one of these but am interested to hear how the Dually trolley performs.
