Poor Artist needs a relatively good (not top of range)slr digital camera, would paint a very nice oil painting for it. Subject of choice, I do a nice job of fish as well as standard landscapes still lifes etc.. see http://www.artbygreglong.com for examples (and usual prices fetched)

Yes Colin, I like the mountains character. This is one I'm working on at the moment.post-2123-1131022721_thumb.jpg

Walked up it several years ago, but the knees won't let me go again.

I spend a lot of time in west Mayo and must say that mountain although not big has something special about it. Errigal in Donegal is much the same.

I have a Praktica MTL50 SLR camera with a standard Carl Zeiss 50mm lens + a WA 2.4/35 Carl Zeiss Jena Lens + a Tele Photo zoom lens Tele-Ennalyt 1:4.5/240mm lens. It also has a 2x converter. Needs a battery.

Is this any good to you??

Only problem is the weight and the postage.

Get back to me.

Jimpy, read my CV and you will see my work is part of National collections, and is recognised both in Ireland, europe and the US as being of 'Artistic and Cultural value'. Add into that I spent 4 years studying in 3rd level education to perfect my Craft, maybe you should find the 3 yearold and manage it as a child Prodigy.

Geffaz, take into account studio rent £2000 pa. insurance costs £2000+ pa. Rates £970, Light heat and phone bills for the studio, costs of materials, you dont earn much at my prices. The last 7 year average £75 per week, less than an hours pay for most uni graduates.

PS> Thanks folks I think I'm sorted. :D
