Just hope they`ll serve me in my boots.

I know of army boots, knee boots, hiking boots, and car boots.

Are these special drinking boots?

Vags?

It`s just that Norrie booked the B&B?

When Norrie stated that he`d got the single. Myself and Jabee would have to share. I thought the little scots sod meant share a twin room!!

Not a double bed!! That`s why I`m keeping my boots on. Plus my floatation suit.

Just as well I like his dog `Bonnie`! Otherwise she`d be missing a loved owner.

Who needs friends?

We don`t use J`s anymore!!

:D:D:D:D

Wondered if it had anything to do with the phrase "Filling one's boots". Like my "visting pipe" - a big meerschaum produced if offered a fill. It holds three-quarters of an ounce.

Off for a couple of hours tenching when the rain stops, then on to Lymington.

See ya soon

Right better start thinking about getting my kit together Vags do you have a mobile number in case I miss you all Saturday evening, if not I have Johns and will call you on the boat during the day.

Don't think I am going to make it down in time to meet up this evening as have to get to Brockenhurst put up the tent and then go to a family thing in Christchurch.

But will try to meet you off the boat on Saturday.

Last of the mucky weather steaming through now!

Should be calming down this afternoon & pleasant by nightime.

Sat looks very good.

So are you all to be at 'The Mayflower' this evening? (Bath Road car park, near Town Sailing Club and 'Sea Baths' (bath road see......))

I will pootle along about 19:00 & see if I can spot a dodgy looking group of reprobates.

PS bring lots of pound coins as our parking machines have a hunger!

Just got back from my little 'pootle' into Lymington & said reprobates were to be found noisily ‘resting’ at The Mayflower.

Norrie, Spasor, jabee and Salar were soon joined by Alan and Sonja now on the Hampshire leg of their UK tour.

Paul (Spasor) was regaling us with tales of outings with a certain ‘name’ local skipper, I’m fairly sure he didn’t know he was behind him at one point!

So all looks set fair for the ‘Anglers Net Bassing Boat trip’ and I hope they post a report here just as soon as they have finished ‘resting’.

Toggle, sorry but You were too late with your posting about the parling

All, I will do a full report in the morning but on day one (Saturday) Norrie had his first Bass and another first of a Scad/horse Mackeral.

Despite valiant efforts that would have left a lot of us to shame Norma did not get a Bass but was hit by tope twice.

Vagabond had .......

Spasor had a 30+ tope to the side of the boat.....

JB is so cool you would not believe it......

I was very pleased with what Chris P taught me but don't want to brag.

Rob (skipper)tried his best to give us a great day, I think we all had one.

More in the morning for those that are interested, I am shattered and off to bed.

What a week :)
