Free to choose apart from the ones where the trust poked their nose in. Common eel. tope. Bass and sea bream. All restricted.

New for 2016 TAT are the main instigators for the demise of the u k bass charter boat industry, where they went screaming off to parliament and for the first time assisting so called angling gurus set up bass take bans with the e u using rubbish exaggerated info collected by ices from anglers, they must be very proud.

Upgrade, the door has been closed with regards to anglers being linked to the e u superstate and the failed c f p. So TAT will no longer need to pay monies to the EAA anymore as that org is no longer relevant to the u k . Goodbye to the europeon anglers alliance and pathetic restrictions from the e u.

Angling is better than politics, ban politics from angling.

Consumer of bass. where is the evidence that the u k bass stock need angling trust protection. Why won't you work with your peers instead of castigating them. They have the answer.

Recipie's for mullet stew more than welcomed.

Angling sanitation trust and kent and sussex sea anglers org delete's and blocks rsa's alternative opinion on their face book site. Although they claim to rep all.

new for 2014. where is the evidence that the south coast bream stock need the angling trust? Your campaign has no evidence. Why won't you work with your peers, the inshore under tens? As opposed to alienating them? Angling trust failed big time re bait digging, even fish legal attempted to intervene and failed, all for what, nothing.

Looks like the sea angling reps have been coerced by the ifca's to compose sea angling strategy's that the ifca's at some stage will look at drafting into legislation to manage the rsa, because they like wasting tax payers money. That's without asking the rsa btw. You know who you are..

Shouldn't take long with a metal detector. Remember to take some protection such as a few heavies !!!

I am not an expert, but was under the impression that the smart detectors could distinguish between different metals

washers fool detetors ,its not so much the metal but the hole in it ,my top of the range loves holes in iron but i would rather dig iron than leave gold which sits just above it on the scale ,ordinary iron can be discriminated out with ease

gold though is very hard to detect if its pure and some of the best machines cannot see it if its small .

gold rings are easy they have this hole

washers is a well known archi dodge to disuade night hawkers spoiling their fun of accidentally filling archis wellies with loot in the daytime LOL

it seems the fashion to produce gold orientated machines but most gold is found with the cruder machines where heavy minerlisation is the problem rather than man made crap ,the modern gold machines tend to be highly strung for england as they are a bodge between sensitivity to gold and sensitivity to everything else espeially iron scale etc

in the case of folkestone i would go pulse induction and get my back wrecked digging everything and hoping to get lucky

even my 20 odd year old detector discriminates, I used to know exactly what was coming up, no gold though, useless I was

modern detectors are not smart they try desperately to tell you what the thing is but fail to tell you what it isnt

i am always worried if the machine cannot put the object in a box in its cpu brain it will class it as rubbish

most of the machines out there are for the yanks and their "tot lots" experts here dont use detectors where the yanks disciminate foil iron and ringpools doing that here ensures our thin silver hammered are never found so we tend just to get the iron nails discriminated out and dig everything else ,the yanks "notch" infatuation is useless here

How does all this frenetic activity square with local councils banning bait-digging ?

"environmental issues" thrown out of the window in the name of "art"

It does suggest an easy method of bait collecting though - start a rumour of "there's gold in that thar beach" and just turn up with a bait bucket in which to put any worms, clams, razorfish or overlooked diamond rings that others have dug up.
