I know it well, use to launch a ski boat there before we discovered the Sun Inn up at the mouth.

 

Did you paddle up under the road bridge around all the floating wrecks, looks real pretty up there, be careful though it's Deliverance country

 

Keep us posted on where and when and hopefully I can hook up, Tarpon may turn up this Saturday so I may have to take a trip to Woodmill to pick it up.

 

If we do get out, I'll bring along a seat for you to try out on the Scupper Pro Paul, it's a lot thicker than the standard highback, not as pretty to look at, but might be just the job and would like to know how it fairs, it's got channels underneath which will help stop water building up around the edges.

Solent HT on Sat is 9pm! ish. So if we are going for early Bass would need nav light and fish from 6pm onwards for best chance. Launch from Keyhaven 4-5ish. Or does everybody just want to stick to daylight? You know me Im just happy to be on the water.

richi thanks for reply, just a silly question do u keep your battery inside the hull or outside???? and what is that black materail you have used to seal the leads???

that's my battery unit on top of the transducer housing inside the hull kelvin.To seal the leads I adapted a closed grommet then filled around the leads with Sikaflex but I think I'll change that soon for a cable gland ----they are much more robust and only about £10 in the local chandlers
