Ed Balls has suggested a %5 pay cut for MPs .

Mr Balls will also announce plans for a 5% pay cut for government ministers with their pay to be frozen until the deficit has been cleared

shame he didn't come up with that within the last admin. regarding the deficit, didn't his mob have something to do with creating it, spending the gold reserves, the money, the private pensions, giving the e u our rebate, etc etc.

 

If he wants to make the 5% pain of a wage reduction last the least amount of time, he will need a conservative admin to achieve that surly. :D

They will tell you black is white if they thought it would fool you ,when they get power strangely most promises disappear like the details on their expenses sheets

Is this 5% reduction before or after the 11% rise they are trying to get Next year ,does it matter when they can just claw it back under some expenses scheme or other

My local conservative m p is a really good campaigner if you want a nimbie. He's just opposing 5000 homes in a semi rural position. That is five minutes away from the main arterial roads, so transport links will be ideal, however, because it's near his nimbie mates, nooooooooooo way will they have concreting over their ideal. BTW we have two rush hours outside of our property where the traffic is nose to tail mornings and evenings, do we feel for them, nope.

 

Also he is totally against infrastructure improvements, for example a new road and rail crossing over the lower thames to help us get rid of the Dartford crossing car park area. And as for a purpose built multi runway airport to create up to 30,000 jobs, huh, that will be the largest nimbie no go ever. Although several of our local European countries have them, like Holland and Germany and the far east countries that need new transport links to enhance business.

 

I would not be surprised if he crosses over to the labour party. :bye2:
