The very best of luck to you mate. I know only too well how tricky these negotiations can be. I'm just feeling complacent coz I got a "that sounds fun, of course you can go.

Be aware though, she may try to get you to commit to promising to do some decorating. Under no circumstances should you fall in to this evil trap!

Dead easy with the pass keeper: As you pass a room with her in it, you stop....back up...glance her up and down a bit and just say have you lost weight love?.....walk past and forget it for a day or two....then ask!!!

It will all be logged in the side of the brain that stores stuff like all the bad s*@t you've done and will balance it off nicely!!

 

Otherwise, ask her while she is asleep!!

As my Mull of Galloway trip has been knocked on teh head I'll try and make this, but coming so far I'd like to a few days of it.

Anybody know how to by the end of the month fit a kitchen; cut the hedges; re-decorate 2 bedrooms all in between running the daughter Taxi service.

 

Better sharpen the swiss army knife. Looks like it is going to be busy.

 

Only complication may be that I have to go to the US for a week with work. CHEAP GEAR!!! What a bummer but somebody has to do it.

 

Ill dig out the old tent so bank on me taking out one of those pitches.

ZZippy, Specimen, Darnsarf, Richi, Hong Kong - I might be down to Bournemouth/Poole next week - any days you planning on going out. After 6 days solid I am planning on a few hours escape - 05.00 I finished this morning (by the time I had driven home from Cornwall) then on the road again at 08.30 to go down to Oxford - my eyelids are begining to droop a little (it is now 00.50 again!)

 

Anyway, there is a bike and I have two RIBs to get tested by the end of the month - all in the same area.
