Sorry for butting in only I thought I had logged onto a fishing site.

But just for the record I am a supporter of the Womens Institute and so is my mum. :D

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.

I must go down to the sea again

To the lonely sea and sky

I left my shoes and socks there

I wonder if they're dry?

Any more news on your sail making successes chaps?

I will bring the Pacific Action one with me to the Tope meet at the weekend - then you can see how it goes together.

My first one was a mistake - it broke at the base of the mast (I hinted to it in my posts) now they have replaced my masts because the pictures I showed them told them it was from a batch that didn't get the added wraps for strength around the bottom mast sections - they have had only 3 breakages in over 1000 units sold - a pretty good record. My new masts have arrived, so should be all systems go at the weekend. Anyone want a play you only have to ask.

I have all my bits. Will put it together next week but need to practice my sewing first. Zzippy and I went for the 3/4" (inside diameter) class e pipe.

Went out with Zzippy yesterday.. a downwind sail would have come in very handy when trolling back from Handfast Point/Old Harry Rock.

Just a question after coming into this late in the stages, but when you said tent maker i have this weird thought of a yack being turned into a 6 berth frame tent! then again make sure its not a caravan shop as well. we'd hate to see the sign on the back of cars saying "oh no not another bl**dy yacker"

any pictures of finished items yet? and do they sink well?

I might just nick my mates wind surfboard, rip of the sale and put the pole into the front scupper hole. Hay ho we have a sale yak.
