Launch of Big Roach 2 by Mark Wintle

For those wanting a hectic weekend there is the book launch of the above by Mark Wintle at The Land's End pub, Charvil, near Reading, Berks from noon on Saturday 8th November. There are 40 special, numbered first-editions only available on the day, one per customer, at £45, as well as the 'normal' versions at £25. This is the sequel to Big Roach, of which just a very few remain.

It was good to catch up with Bob H. and a few others in the roach-fishing world. We talked a few onto the bank that's for sure. There are a handful of the numbered special cloth-bound first-edition books available at £45 but you'll have to be quick and phone up Calm Productions tomorrow morning if you want one.

A lovely book launch, with so many Big Roach men present; Big Roach 2 compliments the first book, I could not put it down last night.

 

Anyone who likes Roach fishing will be impressed by the quality of the book and the information it holds.

 

I reckon it's very good value and a brilliant read.

 

Strongly recommended.

You should like Big Roach 2, Andrew, as I take a look at the Thames. As for the third volume, I think I've cracked the title!

Had an update on the first volume, Big Roach, and the publisher tells me it's now sold out. If you want one then you will have to find a seller fast as there aren't many about, no plans to print more. Plenty of Big Roach 2 though.
