This was a commercial catch someone in the UK or South America. The fish aren't even gutted!

I Doubt that the photo was taken in the Uk, Because in the fish markets ( that is the only place you would see them over here) would have them on ice and as you say Gutted,

 

But a shame all the same,!

the swordfish we get in the shops here carry signs that they were caught off the coast of africa.

i belive that there are many places that have strict quotas, licences and rules that ensure the fishery is sustainable,florida for example.i hope so.

i must admit i do like to eat swordfish though.
