My son worked at this place, and witnessed this. He wasn't working but got called down to help the little blonde lass who was trying to keep people of the escalator. Shortly after this was filmed, she was punched by some 'big strong guy', and my son dragged her to safety while the instore security dealt with the animals who were supposed to be shopping.

My Hotmail on-box has been stuffed with Black Friday offers these last few days - they are all unread but I did take the trouble to google it yesterday to find out what the score was, once I knew, I was even more pleased that I hadn't wasted any time reading those e-mails.

Ayjay, Just so you'll know - all Americans are not sheep either. Many of us lounge around and watch an inspiring NFL football game.

 

The "meaning" of Black Friday is this: If a store had a good sales day Friday after Thanksgiving (no one works on this Friday) it was likely the company books would end up in the black for the year. Originally slow moving items were sold at a loss to generate cash and cut obscure inventory. It is WAY out of hand. I don't have a clue what it means anymore.
