Wasn't it a bit of uncertainty in the vote counting in Jeb's state of Florida that got George W. elected?

 

I find it strange that in a country of 10s of Millions of eligible candidates the choice comes down to the same 2 or 3 families repeatedly. Could it be that the candidates are irrelevant but it is the money and businesses behind them that really make the decisions.
