Fishing Milford Haven for Conger

Fishing Milford Haven this weekend coming, looking for a good Conger and maybe a lucky Cod or Bass.

 

A few possibles already, anyone welcome to join.

 

Fishing Saturday and/or Sunday (weather dependant)

 

Tides;

 

Saturday High water - 12.07 5.3m, Low water - 18.49 2.8m

 

Sunday High water - 13.43 5.1m, Low water - 20.41 2.8m

 

Short paddling distances, water depth upto 20m only a little tide run, usual fishbaits and gear for conger.

My working weekend - I'd have deffo come !

Spoke to Nifty about it last night and it sounds like there are some REAL biggies down there

Fished a charter last year and on the way back in we fished a small wreck at the mouth of the Haven , near where the empress hit rocks I think. One of around 15lb came over the side and another bigger one was lost at the surface.

Hoping to be there, i don't have to work now.

 

I have to drop my daughter of in Havrfordwest first though.

Would have liked to fish most of the flood but maybe i can do that on Sunday

 

I have taken codling from around that area as early as mid October in the past so may bring some lugworm as well

The wreck would be the decotian, not a bad little mark.

 

We will launch around 11 ish and fish the tide down and into darkness.

Nice one Tom, will p.m launch time and definate location, the three launch spots are all within a mile stretch.
