Sounds as though your wishes for a cold snap are on the way - wind is going round to the N in the next day or so. It has gone mighty cold up here today - going to set fire to some more logs for comfort. Too tight to turn the central heating on. Our household regime has always been to fire up the CH on my birthday (3 Dec) and turn it back off on Valentines Day (14 Feb, just to remind you....and in case FPOs are looking in). Now we start to get the shivers by November and they don't go away until nearly April - what's going on?

 

I think we need more shared bodily warmth.......

Aghhhh......the smell of burning logs, and the crackle of the flames.

Nothing more relaxing.

Toasting bread while picking your toe nails.......bliss.

We have to make do with turning on the heating

 

Yep its going round N /W here at the weekend......well......so they say.

Definately getting cooler too.
