Yes it was an old friend 6lb even screaming take on the spam ubber long hooklength after Barbel which I thought it was for a few seconds ,stayed on but nothing else came along river dropping fast now 6 inch above norm and clear

Anderoo yes and 2 swims away I cast round with a lead found a patch of Gravel close to weed targeted that spot almost mid river and expected a chub on the margin rod close to cover but as it was the mid river one tore off ,Bob H thanks always smile when I catch don't get the pose looking at the fish with no emotion on the face .....may have another go later if I can drum up some enthusiasm
