Yep I'm leaving Friday morning to hopefully fish from Noon, fly, lure and bait, have I missed anything :)

I've managed to "organise" a work related trip, got a meeting in Brecon at 10am, should be around in the afternoon. Dropping the yak off Thurs morn at Joes Lodge......will have to buy bait locally though. Haven't looked if there's a tackle shop in Brecon yet.

Just got me new Crewsaver booties today (had to send the first pair back, ordered 10s my feet is 9s, got 11s now, snug!)

Cheers Martin,

I dropped on a good supply of Sardines a few weeks back. A 1 kilo bag of medium for £5-50, frozen solid, which I reckon is the best way to get them. Split the bags at home into fives and back in the freezer before they have chance to go mushy like the "Astecmorsains" ones.

I've got a couple of kilo in stock but can pick some more up if anyone wants some.

Takes us back to the beginning of the thread now on how many we can ram in the freezer along with the Barbel and Richis Cod fillets? :D

Hi Nifty,

Just read the rest of the thread - if you can, stick a kilo in for me!! (have you got a refridgerated vehicle?? ). If you could let me know, that'd be great so I don't buy up the stock of some tackle shop in Shrewsbury or summet.

Thanks,

Marc.

Just an idea but whats the smallest nuclear reactor currently available?

Fished since 2003, the rest of my life I just wasted.

Traces:

All I need to do is find the crosslock swivels I bought! I have wire, I have crimps, I have swivels, I have the pliers - but where did I put those tiny crosslocks?

If poss, all I need is the crosslock WITHOUT SWIVEL if anyone can find a packet of smallish ones suitable for clipping on lures I would be ever so grateful - we don't have a tackle shop within miles!

Darnsarf - i'll give you a pike fly that is a sure fire catcher.............of weed, trees, bank, ears..!

Hi Simon,

I've got a few crosslocks with swivels if your stuck but if you plan your journey right, you'll pass the front door of Sportfish at Winforton, and guess what? they've got their Winter sale on this W/E

Tom,

Your right about the forecast, not looking good :( 35mph S/W, could be fun launching. The only place to launch catches it full on from that direction and reminiscent of Tywyn when it does blow

If your sailing you'll need to be close hauled to get out :D

I'm bringing some trace gear with me Simon, Dennan Speed Clips with swivels, happy for you to have just the one :D, think there are 4 or five left in the pack, will have some other clips with me as spares, if I can get some more I will.
