Not yet, being a bit of a whimp am waiting for decent weather + will be fixing up wor lass with some perch gear. Have no fear I intend fishing it a few times this year.

My main target is pike on fly gear, wish me well. The first time I fish it will post up a report.I think the tack4 squad are also intending to fish it. Will make a change from fishing in the briney!

here's part of my home work on our latest topic can you guess what our topic is

Stags roam the forests,

Clansmen dress in tartan,

On the hills the wild deer graze,

Thistles are our emblem,

Loch Ness is where Nessie lives,

Andrew is our patron saint,

Nevis is our highest peak,

Daggers are in clansmen’s sock whilst in a kilt.

Snatcher the best bits of Whitefield Loch are covered in trees you wouldnt get a back-cast with the fly. However I would think the challenge might be to use a fly with a float or surface controller.

Ps the best course fishing I have had was near Newton Stewart pm me if you want details tactics etc.

Aye Scotland - home of the haggis, poor footballers, bad rugby players, and Snatchers caravan. Not to mention some of Anglers nets finest :D:D

A bad days fishing is better than a good day at the office. Tight lines all.

Canny few - should be manic and lush mate

Peter have a fair selection of controller floats so should have all possibilities covered.Do you know if the loch has a big pike/perch population or are you scratching around?

Is it true a 4.5lb perch was netted out of it - a right beastie!
