At the Big One show this year I bought an NGT adjustable chair. When I used it the legs kept collapsing on me. I contacted NGT and spoke to a guy named Craig. He listened to my tale of woe and said he would test out a new one (he is the same weight as me) to see if he could repeat the same result, if not he would send me a replacement. The next day a new seat was delivered, along with a fishing cap. He had told me to bin the old seat. The new seat works perfectly. Can't ask for better service than that !!

My first job on leaving school was at a large retailers. One of the directors told me that a customer's complaint was an opportunity to enhance the name of the firm.

 

Sounded good sense to me - its a pity that so many retailers are unaware of it.

Theres stil, some good companies about ,my flask died and alladin sent me a replacement on emakling a picture of its base ,i only had it 10 years ,its replacemnt died after a week but they sent another ,the difference between american ones a cheap chinese ones !

I havnt used the replacement replacement ,i will once my other american one dies

 

Another surprising one was kiddey ,my cheap reel broke and asking if they had spares sent me a replacement without question and a returned one with the bit i wanted intact

 

The most annoying thing is help desks not having a clue about what they sell and return emails with "you should get an answer within 10 working days" i want it now or i will shop elsewhere!

 

I asked a question on ebay about an item 5 days later they replied asking for the model number of the thing i wanted their item to fit the thing that i had already put in the original bloody question if they bothered to read it!
