Richi's Mudeford Launch

Recommended Posts

As I'm local to the area popped down this afternoon to meet Richi before he launched from Mudeford Quay. Took a few pics.

Richi rigging up at Mudeford Slipway.

The slipway at Mudeford is by the lifeboat station. Last callout:

Christchurch Bay is a popular area for potting. Creel City at the Quay:

Many boats can't get out of Christchurch harbour on a low tide (especially on a spring tide) due to a sandbar outside the entrance. Its situations like this that the kayak can have an advantage - there is also no propeller for netting or rope to get caught on (see second pic).

Look forward to reading the report later.
