Hi Everyone

 

new to the forum

 

I have just got back into angling after a 7 year break which i took when my son was born

he turns 7 next month so i am now teaching him to fish

I have taken him 4 times and he already has caught carp up to 6lb mostly on the pole which is a new way of fishing for me to so we both learning together!!

I am still teaching rod and line too.

I already realise it's about my son more than me,,  my rod does not spend too much time in the water at moment lol..   but i get a massive thrill watching him catch,,   he even pulled in his last few carp without me hardly helping,,,   don't see nearly enough kids fishing nowadays and we need to get the young ones into the greatest pastime in my mind.
