Believe it or not, Tony, I actually had a couple of hours on a lake near me this evening trying out his pin and his Harrison float rod. He certainly knew good tackle when he saw it and, of course, I wouldn't dream of going without these.

Yes, the Harrison is a lovely rod for some reason I always thought it was a Bruce and Walker, he did well with it on the Itchen last year.

I still don't know if I can come as I my football league haven't published the fixtures that far ahead! Assuming the worst and I couldn't come, would it be ok for me to come down in the afternoon to catch up with people and make tea etc?
