Syrphus,

Welcome on board, 15lb plus, would love to, intend to. The americans are catching sharks close to the 200lb mark, halibut around 80lb!

Bigger baits, that's what we need. :D

Yakity,

Suits single lined on the inside using a titanium material to retain the body heat, the outside is smoothskin, which sticks to itself when trying to prize it on.

The zip is just big enough to squeeze my backside through, the neoprene then stretches to allow your upper body into it, once on it's very comfortable with plenty of room in the arms allowing for muscle expansion, their is a flap in the back panel which you pull over your head to prevent flushing when submersed. The zip also has an anti flushing strip.

Are those paddling trousers, waist fit or salopettes with shoulder straps?

Got to go, had a tooth out today and I'm just getting the feeling back, aaaahaahaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Young fishing lass,

Glad you like the kayakfishing, my son had his first fishing trip on a kayak last year at 4 years old, my mate was paddling and I was holding onto him tightly, he managed 5 mackerel, we tried again this year, but didn't catch anything. My daughter who is now 4 had her first trip out this year as well, again no fish, but she is really keen to go out again...to cold now.

YY - email me the yakpics005.jpg that is giving you so much grief and I'll see what I can do with it for you.

Hi Starvin,

Sounds like a nice suit, I used to use open cell suits when I was diveing / spearfishing.

It helps if you talc up before getting into the suit, even slightly damp skin can make life hard.

wont hurt to throw some over the suit too, wont hurt it at all.

As long as you rinse with fresh water after every trip.

Re the trousers, they are not salopetts.

The trousers have latex seals on the ankles, the waistband is a Large neoprene affair.

When you sit down in them, you look like a Mitchilin Man :D

The air trapped inside the trousers soon goes.

YY. :)
