...Berkshire based former (young, so a long time ago) match angler here.

 

Been trying to get back into it after a long lay off, and have discovered that pellets catch more fish than bloodworm ever did, and that someone has invented a helicopter rig.

 

Blimey, I'm confused...

Welcome to AnglersNet and back to fishing.

 

I don't imagine it will take you long to catch back up although there is still much to be said for the 'old school' ways of fishing.

Newts definately right - I have always gone back to old methods and baits etc. when the going gets tough and it always produces, So do you own thing as you used to and pick new stuff up on the way :)
