Ahhh Cowfish, the poor mans Bonefish. He's my boy connected to one.... (bait was good ol' squid)..

For the barra's make up some Ripper's before you go with trebles and wire ;)

Suprisingly, yes. very heavy, they have a solid bone skeleton on the outside.
Also known as box fish.

:rolleyes: I have been advised that if I want to fish in Cuba to go soon, as when America lifts the embargo on it's citizens going there prices will at least double. :angry:

Apparently, some paces in Cuba have banned DIY angling, so you have to hire a guide.

As far as I am aware this only applies to Cayo Largo you will be OK in Playa Pesquero.
I can also confirm that the cowfish go like stink, I was convinced I had a decent Bonefish on when I first hooked one, they grow to over twenty pounds as well.
