Does it really matter if it goes everything else has been bought by foreigners as to the workers not so many compared to the miners or steel workers and ship workers gone before

They better get some extra cash ready for NHS if the 1.3 million brits living in the EU decide to come home the majority get health care free in EU countries so homeward bound could well be the case and a lot are of the older generation that will put even more pressure on the NHS with ageing society all the extra cash promised to health service with brexit is now a distant memory its just going to get more pressure with brexit .

If it's not down to choice (and residency visas are withheld), we gain 1.3m but we loose 2.9 million EU nationals currently living in the UK.

That sounds like less, not more pressure on the NHS.

In fact, the only way that your argument makes sense is if you feel that the UK will be more stable, wealthy an generally appealing than continental Europe in a post Brexit world.
