Thanks for the info rstraight.What do you guys think is the best rod weight for carp?

I have a 2 & 3/4 Lb Test Shimano  BX 12 foot - 6 piece. £100.

 

Same as the AX but a lighter blank.

60lb blimey ,i remember i got a news of the world? Umbrella for an 18lb one from horton kirby in the late 60's,crap brolly BTW
Never quite made 30 my carp fishing days are over so never will get past that mark

Believe NOTHING anyones says or writes unless you witness  it yourself and even then your eyes can deceive you

 

There is only one opinion i listen to ,its mine and its ALWAYS right even when its wrong

Whitby scallops caught by scottish boats best that money can buy,the nearer the shore they're dredged the better they taste
