Wow ,i could do with one though but not in that league ,probably a hybrid one fricking windows keeps out growing its partition i with it wouldnt keep copies of everything and just leave it alone my user file is 120gb ffs

 

The chap sounds like he is being controlled by a second party squeezing his balls just out of sight under the table!

 

Not sure thats a 1.8" my mrs old mp3 player had one that was smaller ,small sizes for their size? Its 3.5" its a standard you wont be getting a 3.9" one lol.

My first drive was less than 10mb the server for the whole uni i found in the skip was 300mb it cost 4 grand new !

I had a pile of scsi ones in their cases for my xt in those days you could easily repair them but they are to delicate now but the magnets are handy

That's just the disk module. The controller is about the same size as a front loading washing machine. Georgeous engineering. I've a sneaky suspicion that you'ld not want to pay the leccy bill. They didn't take to be powered down, but at leastt you'ld get a heat from it.

 

Those Seagate hybrid drives are good, I've got two.

I still remember the thrill swopping out my XT mobo for an AT one then swopping its 8mhz crystal for a 16 then the fun loading up a 3mb full lenght memory board as i aquired the chips then the green screen for an 8 colour one ,heady times back then!
