Personal messages and emails

One of the members and I are in the process of airing our differences on PM.

For some reason these PMs have appeared on my email and as it is a business email address my wife and daughter read it as well.

My wife is now worried about these emails and the threats they contain, as is my daughter.

This has never happened to a PM before, so do I conclude that this is intentional and that he sent these emails with the purpose of my family reading them or could there be some other reason for it?

Somebody mentioned that I don't seem to be open to PM's anymore a couple off months back.

I've changed no settings so maybe there is a systemic problem.

Perhaps theres something in your settings that allow it?

I get an email telling me theres a pm in the rare case i get a pm

Yes, I get an email telling me I have a PM but these are the full messages. I have never had this before and I have changed no settings.

Send me a pm to see if i do!?! Just copy and past a paragraph of something incase it posts just the first line

I use the mobile version so pretty much nothing but more interestingly no email telling me i had one i will return it and see what happens your end

I included a paste from wikie incase the email included the first line by default ,if you get it all i would contact Newt to see if he can fathom it out

In my settings only mods can send me stuff (i think) but i have had a couple of pms in the past but when it comes to pms i am not the most expertly minded as you can amagine especially as i use the mobile version of the site which is basic indeed ,not even smillies to give away my real thoughts lol

If its spilling into email i agree otherwise you use it to play and not involve others which should be happening

I have never blocked or ignored anyone but i guess i am on many lol

Not sure why anything gets that bad but i guess some take it to heart ,i bite occasionally but its all in the heat and quickly forgotten by me (the recipient may think otherwise) i am in reality a nice old chesters1 as the few that have met me hopefully will agree ,i just have never socially integrated so what i try to get over may appear differently to those that read it

Not sure how the other party knows his email address though if its offsite but i suppose somewhere out there we are laid bare with a bit of research ,mine is i put it in the ether in my intrepid research so its waiting to bite

As i popped into the cluttered full version to have a looked round i looked into my notification bit and everything is blank hense i didnt get any of Sportsmans PM i guess in the past someone told me in a post i had a PM
