You're clearly not the sharpest knife in the drawer & missed the point re the fact that hotel building regulations (ie for people who can't afford to stay in hotels) require the use of fire sprinklers, whereas Blocks of flats - have no sprinkler regulations.

See you at the Dorchester or maybe the Quorn Sunday !! Tally Ho!!

You seem more than ready to post the EDL stuff

Tommy whatever - can't remember 2nd name - not even interested!!!!

Oh ye' Robinson - picked from phone directory no doubt.

This was an appalling tragedy and the likely extent of the loss of life is shocking but trying to score cheap political points from the death of so many people isn't really on is it.

Do you think there are no poor people living in DWP funded hotel accommodation?

Do you think there are no rich people living in blocks of apartments that don't have sprinkler systems?

Ironically, in order to insinuate financial irregularities (something for which there is no evidence at this point), you site "the Poulson affair" when Poulson made most of his money by bribing Labour councillors.

BTW Martin, I just love the way that you accuse me of being a bully and then barely have time to draw breath before starting with the personal insults about my intelligence.

Now I'm not going to go trawling back through your posts but it does appear that the posts that you've made recently on the non-fishing side of the forum have had a distinct political bent. I'm sorry but if you choose to discuss politics, you will be exposed to differences of opinion. If you can't discuss those differences of opinion without insulting people, perhaps you should stick to discussions about fluffy puppies.

No political points ken it wasn't meant for that what's strange is the numbers of fatalities being quoted so low when the terrible thing is it's going to so high the **** is going to hit the fan here politics shouldn't come into this but it will it's a terrible tradegy .

Yes, it is looking more and more as if the death toll is going to be shockinly high and some very serious questions need to be asked about the ability of the fire bigade to tackle high rise fires, wether they be in commertial or residential settings.
