I spent the morning painting fences but it's really too hot and stick to do anything physical now.

My 85 year old head bailiff took me and his sons dog on rounds today and usually have a mile walk on the common so his dog can have a swim in the ponds outlet and then a crap and be dry by the time we got to the car.

We didnt go our usual route but cut back through the woods but arrived soaked back at the car as there was no breeze .

Being err big boned i hate the heat so after tugging the mrs round the floor helping her with her physio i am now drinking crap bitter infront of the aircon thing thats definately struggling lol

Just had a call my eldests scooter is on its way for fixing again on her step dads pickup i told her it wont be done all the time its this hot lol

The "comfort index" on June 19th was 36 degrees in Kansas City. Actual temperature is running about 31 - 33 this week.

We are in fact obsessed with the weather because I distracts us from he fact that we don't have a climate. On the positive side, it's not uncommon to experience blazing summer and freeing winter in the same location and the same day.

We have pictures of 8" inches of snow in 20 minutes in april a few years ago ,decidedly dodgy going home in a rear wheel drive car when every road down to the valley bottom had a 90' bend at the bottom lol

Never seen a boot fare end so quickly

We seem to have everybody talking about 1976 at the moment. It was, without doubt a hot one but people forget that it snowed in June of 1976.

West Indian cricketing legend Clive Lloyd reportedly said it was the first time he'd seen snow.
