Yes, It is sickening. Since they live in the UK (and many were born here), they should learn to live by our standards, not the ones prevalent in their (ancestral) homeland

It's little to do with race. Pakistanis, Sikhs and Hindus are all the same race. It's the dodgy firmware called Islam that they have running on their brains that is the problem. Where are the Sikh and Hindu rape gangs?

I was seething mad when I read the story on the BBC web site. I still am. Raging!

It can be quite hard to unravel religion, ethnicity and culture. Certainly traditional Islamic views on women can help legitimise some appalling attitudes, but I think there's more to it than that. I've come across Pakistani Muslims who have written things I wouldn't care to repeat about this subject and people from certain (other) regions of Pakistan. The kind of attitude you might expect an immigrant from New York to say if you suggested his culture had anything to do with rednecks.

 

My more right-on friends on Facebook have posted a few things about it. They are adopting the position.

We are quickly becoming some sort of early nineteenth century novel or black and white horror film, you know the type, couple break down and find the large isolated Country House, invited in for the night they ask about the noises coming from the attic behind the locked door at the top of the cobweb strewn rickety staircase, when asked about the noises the elderly occupants deny all knowledge of anything!

 

That's what we have become, lock away all the skeletons in the attic and if nobody mentions them then they do not or ever did exist. Trouble is as time goes by we need a bigger and bigger attic.

 

But where do you draw the line, mention the sex gangs and somebody else might add, when reporting on an elderly couple being robbed by people working laying Tarmac might add 'Police are seeking information on Travellers in the area!"
