Chesters1,

One handed at the moment. Brief comments with lots of "cut and paste" (Cory is gonna show me how).

John,

That dam Dr. did have a bit of an accent

Been away for a few days, sorry to hear this when I come back.

Take care Phone, here's to a full recovery.

The carp need you to stand their corner. :fishing1:

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Only just seen this thread. Glad you made it.

I was facing something similar last winter, but the NHS got the stents in place in good time.

Every exchange on AN has now become a bonus, and a fishing trip a huge bonus.

May we both have many more such bonuses (not "boni" I'm British, not Roman)

  • 3 weeks later...

Phone, By my reasoning this weekend will mark four weeks since your incident, any update? Hopefully you have seen improvements and are confident each little change towards getting better are positives which will both amplify and accelerate over time.

Huge,

First, thanks for asking. I am now typing with both hands. Mental confusion is not the frustration is was three weeks ago. Having said that, I used to enjoy mountain climbing (you know it as trotting). My balance is such that I have to triangulate in anticipation of a healthy fart. Alas, I was pretty much one with nature for much of my angling time. I'm currently forbidden, by family, from going alone.

Ken,

Indeed, I have the patients of a carp fisherman. Family says I'm like a cat - 9 lives. I'm truly on the mend. I think for everyone who has encountered serious health events seem to fight depression to some degree. I'll be fine, I'll just lie.
