If the world was round, then all the water in the Northern hemisphere would have drained down to the South and eventually dribbled off somewhere around the Antarctic.

Obvious

Depends on what your looking from

I suppose its down to where we live and how much horizon you see ,there would be no incling at all unless you lived at the seaside or sat on a mountain

Playing about with the units quoted above:

Imagine a sphere 418m in diameter.

Stick your eyeball 3mm above the surface.

How curved do you suppose your personal horizon would be?

In the case of our intrepid explorer, his "eyeball" is only going to be 1.8mm above the surface....

Species caught in 2020: Barbel. European Eel. Bleak. Perch. Pike.

Species caught in 2019: Pike. Bream. Tench. Chub. Common Carp. European Eel. Barbel. Bleak. Dace.

Species caught in 2018: Perch. Bream. Rainbow Trout. Brown Trout. Chub. Roach. Carp. European Eel.

Species caught in 2017: Siamese carp. Striped catfish. Rohu. Mekong catfish. Amazon red tail catfish. Arapaima. Black Minnow Shark. Perch. Chub. Brown Trout. Pike. Bream. Roach. Rudd. Bleak. Common Carp.

Species caught in 2016: Siamese carp. Jullien's golden carp. Striped catfish. Mekong catfish. Amazon red tail catfish. Arapaima. Alligator gar. Rohu. Black Minnow Shark. Roach, Bream, Perch, Ballan Wrasse. Rudd. Common Carp. Pike. Zander. Chub. Bleak.

Species caught in 2015: Brown Trout. Roach. Bream. Terrapin. Eel. Barbel. Pike. Chub.

How big are the trees?

Your only looking sideways on a ball the further away something is the less there is on the horizon ie the top of a ship will appear before the rest showing the curvature exists in that plane so must in all directions unless trees get in the way or whales or perhaps annoying pods of dolphins whith their poxy jumping and chittering ,eat the buggers!

How big are the trees?!

I've had a beer so I may have slipped the decimal point the wrong way but a quick back of a fag packet calculation shows that on this scale, a 40ft tree would reach up .0004mm above the surface of the sphere - so a man sanding on the surface would be approximately .00006mm tall.

This is why the Earth's horizon appears flat.

A flat earth is a reasonable first approximation for pre-technology humans who can’t walk and swim far enough in a lifetime for the error in the model to be a problem. When you can get to the other side of the planet in a day, not so much.

How big would the dolphins be? Those annoying little ones not the ones that tell you johny is down a well ,wait thats a kangaroo chuck in their size as well ,no wonder some think its flat if the view is full of trees dolphins AND frickin roos tsk!

Best way to remind flat earthers earth is not flat is to line them up at beachy head facing south and tell them to keep walking

Never trust a fish that smiles and blows air out of its head.
It's the horses that you have to watch out for though.

Tee hee findus will buy it for sure .

Hmm just thinking when they test meat are they now just looking for horse DNA ? Is there any other DNA thats not cow they dont see because their just concentrating on neddie?

It amused me when one suggested giving the nag to a disabled riding place ,touch of hardness there when you see in your minds eye drooling johny being tossed off (lucky boy) as the horse has a fit!

Even worse is the horse may not have thee ability to hunt! Methinks buy more bullets and use them on the posters!
