Looks like secularism may be breaking out in Iran with crowds on the streets pulling down posters of the Supreme Leader (Ayatollah Khamenei) while shouting anti Government and anti Islam slogans.

Yep, most of the Iranians I've met were Atheists, Secular Muslims or Baha'i. I've yet to meet anyone who supports the theocratic regime.

What has that got to do with anything.

Because the west sees them as a hardline moslem country in which the people have no rights ,like they did with iraq giving the excuse to help them get rid of their despotic regime .infact the opposite was true

If they had no rights there would be no phones showing such anti regime action

China does but you get round it quite easily ,only the stupid or poor get censored but then why do the poor need such nice phones?

China for one is a strange place ,what you see could be a sham my neice spent a year there at a university ,part of which was the old olympics complex ,not a sniff of wifi anywhere ,the electric sockets on the wall in abundance but only one was wired in ,no tech department ,no kitchens or anyway to cook your own food and the rooms completely unfurnished.

The chinese desperately want to appear civilised to the west but they have a great deal to do lol

 

She also found out a very strange thing ,the thought of vegetarism seems to not exist there ,she being one couldnt order a vegetarian stew the chinese simply told her to remove the meat from the one on the menu and eat the vegetables!

I would have thought it old hat to them? Perhaps in the countryside where more veg exists?
