Whilst in the bank changing dirty coins to new i ordered a non contactless card to replace my present one i keep in a RF blanking envelope ,the lady asked why i replied they are not safe which she replied they were (also triggering a 'conversation' with Cory some time ago back into my mind) anyway the ignorent women did the banks spiel of 10cm and i left.

I the conversation with cory i couldnt pin down the paper my revalation was based on but browsing for something else it found its way to me

Now remember this is old in electronics terms i have no doubt its far further now and more sophisticated the gist is your not safe THEN up to 90 cm .

The amusing idea was a shopping trolley wired up to send and recieve data to cards which will obligingly give you money (data in this case i am sure it never went near tesco guildford) so chesters1 top tip is ditch them or put them in an RF sheilded envelope or wallet

Thats the trouble with tech if two things can 'speak 'to each other theres going to be someone listening in by wire or wireless

 

Just come across the fact its about 13khz frequency they use ,luckily i dont take my card detecting my detector is about the same frequency i maybe paying the ring pulls to be found!

Is there a short version of this post. Annotated with explanations in the margin. It must be very English. I read it on 12/31 (31/12) and again on 01/18 (18/01). There's not a snowball's chance in he!! I have any idea except for sure it is crypto.

Edit: They are becoming so sophisticated I believe they use body scanners and tell you your card is in your front left pocket, and that you don't have quite enough cash for your purchase. Then asks if I want to proceed with the checkout)
