Remember the chap who taught his girlfriend's dog to do a "Nazi salute" as a joke?

Remember that the video had more than 3 million views on YouTube without anyone getting offended or making a complaint?

Remember that Strathclyde police took it upon themselves to be offended on behalf of the people who saw the video without being offended.

Well, the guy responsible (who I only became aware of after 10 minutes of uncomprehending watching of this video) has just been convicted of a hate crime.

Meanwhile, those that join ISIS and then return to the UK and those who proclaim "Behead those who insult Islam" walk our streets without consequence.

It's a funny old world.

YouTube is an amazing resource. I use it a lot for guitar lessons, but also for music, for DIY stuff, fixing the car, etc.

The time is immaterial, (it was actually 10:37 a.m. UK time),  I is what I is,  if that's cranky then I'm cranky, I can live with it, :)

I'm sure it is, and I do have some pottery videos that I've downloaded from there in the past, but apart from that I have no use for it.

I started using the internet when it was all on "dial-up", watching anything like a video was a real labour of love and I just never got into the habit.

Nowadays on the rare occasion that I click on a video that someone has posted somewhere it won't play because of some sort of conflict with settings on my PC, I'm really not interested enough to try and sort that out.

I see the internet as an interactive encyclopaedia rather than a TV.
