British bacon

All,

I didn't want to hijack the "will Trump last" thread

Chesters1 mentioned the British love affair with bacon. I have reserved a room for him should he so choose to leave England.

Quite apart from the welfare concerns of a multi-storey pig factory, I am sceptical of the measures intended to prevent it becoming a flu incubator.

I'll have my pork from somewhere like this, please.

Steve,

I chaperoned eight thousand baby pigs to Japan (1976). They are raised in a confinement below cattle (slotted floor). There is a special name for the ham they produce(?)

Let me see if I understand your post properly. The cattle were being raised inside, on slats. The pigs were being reared under the slats with cow **** and p!ss descending on to ther backs 24/7?

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.
Vaut mieux ne rien dire et passer pour un con que de parler et prouver que t'en est un!

Doesn't surprise me at all, some morons pay a fortune for coffee beans that have been eaten by and then shat out of some critter!

Cory,

Yes, an age old practice in Japan. They have roughly 140 million while you have - - - - what? - half that? with about the same land mass.

Ohh - isn't that canned ham from Japan that is supposed to be so famous called "Kobi" (something like that).

Hense - never wrestle with a pig in sh!t - everyone gets dirty and the pig loves it.
