Clearly he's a financial moron - although I suspect that even post bankruptcy, there will be a few nest eggs to tide him over, in Switzerland, in the Cayman Islands or wherever, so I wouldn't feel too sory for him.

Ohh you are absolutely correct. It's just that I never cease to be amazed at guys like Boris. I need only look at several NBA players or maybe the worst idiot of all Mike Tyson. He spent a bizillion buying a wedge of the moon.

Becker earned nearer £64m once you add in the sponsorship and advertising deals which makes burning it in a few decades all the more incredible.

I suppose it's easy to get on board with a lifestyle that says money doesn't matter but only a moron fails to start out buy setting aside a few little stashes and investment funds that return a fixed guaranteed income for life.

I believe that our lottery system is required to provide this sort of financial advice to big winners so these days we rarely hear sort of boom to bust stories that we had with the pre-lottery football pools winners.

Unfortunately the wealthy seem to attract the worse scum out there ,their lives wouldnt be complete without a few 'advisors' dipping their hands in his pockets ,they appear to get a few quid then desperately need people to take it from them ,it seems one cannot be wealthy without a team of yes men and 'advisors' following behind.

One couldnt have wealth and decide how to spend it by themselves its not seen ,some even send out people to buy crap for them ,hows that enjoyment of having a few bob?

Some tosspots even spend half a million quid on a car that sits in traffic at 4 mph just like the cheap ones

I cannot even see the appeal of first class on flights sure you get on 5 minutes before the riff raff and the seats are a bit more comfy and you glass is always full but the planes still a plane full of riffraff and the airs the same and its just as late or cancelled as theirs ,real money is in charter flights you can blow a few quid landing nearer home but not a lot more

 

My old boss who was wealthy anyway lost his way when his old man died and came into a bit of lolly ,he did the usual thing and had his yaught in the med and a chauffer and landed at Farnborough instead of heathrow,he realised after a while the only people appreciating the yaught was the full time crew and the chauffeur sat around smoking fags most of the week ,some obviously dont appreciate money or get addicted to what it brings
