We only lost 1-0 but with the lesser part (in the main) of the squad & to be fair Neither side trying all that hard!!

Having been forced to go to millwall games by my old man ,then 'encouraged' to play football i hate it,it went right over my head but i presume var is a player of this sport? Edited by chesters1

VAR - is the Video Assistant Referee system. Seems as though the world MAY have received an "assist" from VAR

I was watching and didn't see what the fuss was all about. IMO when adults play games an integral part should be the judgement of human officials. Maybe we could simulate video game and forgo the crowds.

Apparently Germany lost again and are out of the World Cup!

They never do well in Russia.

That one i understand ,the winter olympics also!

We've a right chance now having brushed aside Sweden 2-0

 

Just hope Russia can do us a favour by beating Croatia tonight (We can beat either, but Russia would most probably provide the easier route)

 

They've looked the wobblier of the two so far!!

 

Russia would need a Novichok attack to come to their rescue in order to beat England!!!
