Would our prime minister change her mind and go to the match if it was to be Russia ??

Martin,

Be careful what you wish for. Don't put ideas in there head.

Croatia Fluked their way past Russia on penalties - They've got Nothing, based on that performance!!

We on the other hand, outflaired, outclassed & outplayed the Swedes.

Yes Sweden played with some credit, (& on occasions gave us something to think about) but only within themselves.

The arrogance of England fans is astonishing. However I really do think we have a strong chance of winning the whole thing.A breathtakingly easy route to the semi-final.

You'll have to get past Croatia AND France first;-)

The problem isn't what people don't know, it's what they know that just ain't so.

I wouldn't call it arrogance, just 'getting behind your national team', every nation in the tournament have it for their team. I've sensed a general 'up beat' feeling amongst the people I meet, and not just football fans. Even the some of the Asian taxi drivers have the St George cross flags flying on their cars.

It makes a pleasant change from the recent lack of support for the UK from certain parts of the population.

John.

Angling is more than just catching fish, if it wasn't it would just be called 'catching'......... John

Thank goodness we dont have a britain team unfortunately in a lot of cases 'patriotism' doesnt extend to knowing which way up the flag should be !

I even noticed a few in the brexit march!

At least its easier with the england flag
