Just watched an article on the One Show where they were using a drone to map Cormorant pairs (over 500) all in the cause of cormorant conservation. This was on Puffin Island off the coast of Wales. This is the first I have heard of them being an endangered species. Then at the end Matt Baker expressed his love of them !!
The two best times to go fishing are when it's raining and when it's not

Answer:  Yes, in EU Member States all wild bird species are protected by the EU Birds Directive.

Answer:  Yes, in EU Member States all wild bird species are protected by the EU Birds Directive.

I think they would have been covered by our own legislation long before the EU.
